A little late but I got the pictures!

Well after a bit of time and work I have all the pictures up on photobucket so here they are! I had a few other treatments built but the WAF just shot through the floor so I had to take some down :(.

Here is the gear on my new rack from studiotech who happens to have amazing customer support:

The display with my DIY absorbers behind it ohh and my knees...:

My subwoofer/FR:

FL tower:

Right surround and a bass trap:

Rear surrounds:

Left Surround and a bass trap/dining area:

Wiring behind the rack yes, I know its not the prettiest but I know what everything is and where it is (the bucket things help). Also, everything is separated to help avoid interference and well there is a method to my madness. I am still cleaning it up a little but this picture makes it look a bit worse than it is:

Lastly, because its gorgeous my subwoofers post all my work frequency response:

All in all it has been a ton of work and I loved every minute of it. I still play every now and again of course, but I am pretty sure my placement is as good as it will get in my current room which I will only have for another year. Then I get to do it all over again!

Lately I have been focusing on loudspeaker design research as well as perception research so I can start to design/build my own speakers. Next purchases are some books and tools!

Well, it seems as if the pictures are rather dark. I had my laptops brightness/contrast bumped up a tad due to my surroundings and didn't even think about it when I posted these pictures. As soon as I can get my hands on a reliable camera I will retake and then repost all the pics, but I have no clue when that will happen.

If you just can't wait to see the stuff, you could just temporarly bump up your contrast and that should do a good enough job.

Sorry about that guys.

tried to edit the pics

Alrighty, I tried to edit the pics so they are more visible. Here is my OP with the new pics in it instead of the old:

edit: If a mod could delete the post (42) with the old set of pictures that would be great!

the old set of pics look fine to me. the new pics are brighter but of course looks "faker" :)

it's probably because most of your equipment is black. how 80's. haha, just kidding.

you lost the subsonic output of your sub!

Nice setup, avaserfi. Isn't wire management a beotch? I keep saying I'll do a final, really nice wiring job when everything is done but it's never done.

Running everything into those boxes took me about 14 hours of straight work and I am still making minor adjustments occasionally. So yes I would have to agree with you. It sure felt good to do though and it is a night and day differences from the bunches of cords I had laying on the ground before making it entirely worth it. I figured the front of my system looks good so should the back.
