I'm just scared that if I turn it up, things will start to break (I don't mean the sub).

I will set mine just below the point where stuff starts breaking, but to find that point, I will have to break something.

I have a picture sitting on top of my dvd player in my bedroom upstairs, and when I play the sub loudly, it causes the picture to vibrate and change positions, but the sub is in the living room right below the bedroom, and you can feel the floor vibrate a lot when you are upstairs in the master bathroom.

I have my SVS next to one of my stand-mounted bookshelf speakers on a hardwood floor. After the Master and Commander cannon scene, I found that my speaker had moved about 4" and turned 30degrees off axis from the vibration.

Wow! That's awesome. I'll be glad that mine are on carpet. My replacement PC-Ultra arrived a couple of hours ago. I was going to wait until tonight to unpack it, but you guys are getting me all worked up. Perhaps it's time to start in on that thing.
