I'll have to say, I really had fun watching this movie. This movie is difficult to describe. In some ways, it was sort of like Apocalypto meets Rambo:cool:

This movie exceeded my expectations in every way.

4 out of 5 stars

i thought it was pretty dumb too.

2.5 out of 5 stars

I Google imaged it and found this I was expecting some kinder NASA IMAX DVD about the Mars “Pathfinder” rover looks like a disappointment after all.

HEY, LEAVE NASA OUT OF THIS!:D

All things aside, I watched this movie knowing it had received poor reviews and had a feeling it would not be very good. I expected the production value to be low and choreography to be horrible. The previews at the beginning of the DVD did not help my expectations, I mean they had a different preview for the same movie twice, and all previews seemed to be of very strange movies based on Vampirism. So I thought, "I really hope this isn't worse than that horrid Uwe Boll creation Bloodrayne, because that would suck sitting through something as torturous as that again, I might hang myself".

So my expectations are at their very lowest for a big house production. I start watching and find the theme setting to be a bit fast and careless, Oh let me tell you I am worried now. I don't recal if open credits roll before or after she (don't remember her name) discovers the Viking ship, but that part was well conceived and shot. So the cinematography seems impressive to me and I feel this movie might have a chance. So the opening plot is set and forward it goes. I was entranced for the rest of the movie and couldn't be more pleased that this flic wasn't a total flop. Karl Urban is slow up and coming actor, I would like to see him do some more.

So all in all, was a good movie with good action and story. I was pleasantly surprised with it. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

I found the cover for region 2, oh my god its here in the UK, well, no way am I renting that for the afternoon.

Basically the film looks like the noose, put it in your DVD player at your peril.:(

I see (Russell Means) as "Pathfinde" is in it, wasn’t he in “The Last Of Mohicans” (1992) at last that film looked and sounded the dogs bollocks.:p

(Clancy Brown) from “Starship Troopers” (1997) so why are these actors ending up in some load of bollocks like this?

You are a load of bollocks!:D

I'm not trying to suggest this movie is a masterpiece or something, but I did have a lot of fun watching it. (that's how I rate movies)

Pathfinder is sort of like a 'poor mans' Apocalypto:p

Not to mention, 9th century American Indians all speak perfect English in Pathfinder:rolleyes:

Whoa, this movie is out on DVD already?? Man, I need to check Netflix and get this in my queue. I wanted to see this in the theatre but it must of snuck right past me.
