tbewick, thank you for some really interesting links, I have not read through all of them but a quick look indicates some real nice information.

Is this the same Hawksford that wrote some stuff about skin depth and the possibility for that phenomenon to be heard in speaker cables...? "The Audio Critic" was very sceptical to the conclusions of that article but that the mathematics was accurate from what I can remember.

Yes, he is the same person and, our Jneutron took him to task about that flawed paper, or he tried to with no real dialog.

By the way, his peer papers were reviewed, his magazine silliness was not. A lesson that even good people stray off the road from time to time.
