Do you see the little "Green" chicklet in the right corner of everyones posts? How your cursor over the chicklet. It will state "Member in Good (Bad) Standing", "Gaining Recognition", "Member with Fan Club",

Do you see the scale above that in the extreme right corner where the post number is? Click on that and you can give Positive, or Negative feedback.

In the left upper corner of the forum you will see "UserCP". Click on that to see what people write about you.

No family suffering. Actually, I'm buying all of this stuff for my parents. I will not be bring it with me when I move out.

Next up is a new sub, room treatments, new AVR, 6/7th channel speakers in that order.

Well, I figure that I stay here rent free.. I might as well splurge on something the family can do together.

One thing when you assemble this project, and depending on your parents capability, make it simple to use, or it won't be used if it is too difficult. And, as they get older, it may be more of a concern.

It actually doesnt feel so bad when you look at how much people spend on other hobbies. Like Golf, or Koi ponds (you know who you are and i'm sorry!)
