Not has much as it used to be, for example if I where to just turn it on without any RCA phone connected to it, there would be this humming sound, hence the transformer was way too close to the magnet!
So via placing the SPL db metre near to the sub and measuring the SPL where it was at 62dbc was quite unacceptable, and much to my surprise I managed to reduce the humming be as much as -6db so I’m more than happy with it now.
There is however a different humming sound or mild buzzing that produces a different frequency but that sound normal, it less audible than before.
Besides being sat on the floor I have never, never, never had such an incident, so when I get around to racking everything up, soon that is, that’s when things will start to come together.
