Philips DVD Connection???

Hey guys! I recently purchased a Philips DVD Player DVP 5982. It came with a HDMI cable to connect to my TV.

My quetion is will it make a difference in picture or sound if I upgrade the cable to a Monster Cabel M1000DAV HDMI?
