1.5ft Preamp/Amp Interconnects

I'll be setting up my new system soon (Emotiva LMC-1/LPA-1 Combo) and need interconnects between these two pieces of equipment. I'm looking for good, cheap 1.5ft mono rca cables with gold connectors. I was thinking of just using this:

My question which I think I know the answer to is this. Does it matter that this is labeled as a "video cable?" It's just an analog 75 Ohm cable which I could use as an interconnect for my preamp/amp correct? Any thoughts and expertise would be appreciated. Thanks!

It shouldn't matter one bit. Those will work properly to connect your amp and receiver via pre-outs the shielding should be sufficient as well.

I would look at monoprice.com though that seems expensive for what it is.

I took a look at monoprice, but they didn't have any mono rca cables for 1.5ft. I am using them for some other cables.

Of course, if cosmetic issues reign supreme, then keep on lookin'.

Actually, you can most likely quite a bit longer w/o sacrificing anything. When moving stuff around, it's always better to have thema little longer, just in case...

I'm not concerned with sound quality, rather I simply hate clutter. So, I've been trying to find an inexpensive 1.5ft rca cable with gold connectors and it's amazingly hard to find.

If you want everything to have perfectly sized cables, you might consider DIY... I've made some specialty cables, and it's not hard if you have some time, soldering skills and an attention to detail.
