In Wisconsin, the City of Green Bay did something that was nice to deter the hiring of illegals. If a business needs to register with the city or requires a license, and such business is caught knowingly hiring illegal aliens, the city will revoke it's license or registration. Basically they figured, if no one can hire them, they will go away. It was met by some heat from liberals, and even a few spokesmen from the ACLU (imagine that). It passed 9-2.
Brown County is looking at imposing the ordinance county wide but needs appoval from the state. With a big lib governor and senate it may be tough. The only hope is strong support from citizens and the state house of representatives which is republican controlled. If anyone has not heard, The governor and senate are trying to pass the largest statewide tax increase in not only state history but U.S. history.

The republicans budget from the house of representatives leaves taxes where they are with even a few cuts and it is being called "extreme". Figure that one out.
