SACD to MP3 = laughter or plausible?

Most SACD's have 2 channel and 5.1 content. There is no fold down unless you have your player set that way. The 2 channel content was created seperately and is considered a seperate mix.

That's not ripping - it's recording. You could also place a microphone next to the speakers and record it to tape but that would be even worse.

The sound quality comming from the analog output of a quality Super Audio Player is still better than any digital format can produce other than the original disk it was taken from.

You lost me there. You do realize that all CD/DVD/SACD/DVD-A/etc are digital formats right?
