How to connect two buildings over 200 meters?

Hi Guys,

I have to run audio connection from one building to another, basically have to take output from one building to another , the other having 5 speaker zones, I have the zone splitter, but wonder best way to send and receive the output, they are using an old xlr connector now and it has a lot of disortion.

Can someone tell me the easiest cheapest way to do this?

The amp from the first building has input from Minidisc, cd, dvd, tape, vcr..not that would really matter I guess...

Two separate systems? RF transmitted remote setup? Using voltage transfer like a PA system?

That's like 650 feet!

I'd look into an FM transmitter on the sending end and a receiver or tuner/amp on the receiving end. You'll need more than a toy transmitter, though. Good luck.

Actually I found out its only 91 meters, or 300 feet.

Does this make any difference?

Is my only choice Fm transmitter and can anyone give any more info on that or which transmitter I could use?

If you end up using the transmitter, you need to check FCC codes.
But, your needs are very unusual.

What kind of building is this for? Like a hotel with other wings so far away?

Well yeah it is like a hotel.

But only have to transmit audio no video.

Any one have any good links where i can learn about the fm radio transmission?

A digital transmitter would be better, less to no interference.

The only one I found can transmit 150 feet, it is made by a company called Amphony.
