Thank you for the Av Rants

Ever since I found Audioholics I have been using it as an escape from work. Recently more and more I have been reading up on the site and working less and less . Even though my production has gone down my bosses thing I am doing a great job since I am the only person who knows how to do it and I work by myself. This hasn't helped the situation since I have no worries about my job. Finally, I realized I could just download all the Av Rants, put them on my shuffle, and get my fix while I work. Its been wonderful I have curbed complete and utter boredom and have managed to get to a decent level of productivity.

Just wanted to say thanks for running a great site that has taught me, and many others insanely large amounts about A/V info and for the rants.

If it wasn't for my job, I'd never have enough time to be a moderator
(It's a shame they block streaming media, though. Damn computer nazis.)

Its sad, Im at work right now listening to my third rant in a row without break. I have gotten far more work done today then I have the rest of the week but now I am getting a double dose. I am on the forums and listening to the Rant :-D. Ohh well, atleast I am getting more work done.

I must be addicted. Atleast I can't inject audio...

Haha you sound a lot like me back when I worked as an Engineer for the corporate world. I wrote most of my cable articles at that job. Perhaps it was my misery at work than made me such a cynic. Now that I work for myself, I am not writing as many cable articles. Hmmm......

I actually found out my boses don't really care that much today. They walked in as I was posting on the forum and just waited for me to to finish, asked what I was doing and said "Oh, okay." I guess they realize how boring my job is hah. Works out well for me.

I saw a comic strip on someone’s desk yesterday and there was a woman at a desk with her boss standing over here and he asks "Why aren't you working" and she replies with "I didn't see you coming.

Sucks the way my office is laid out people come from behind me so I have to Windows+M at every sound. I made my desktop background a spreadsheet and our intranet site.

Ahhh, what a great work environment, isn't it? Luckily, mine's not like that anymore, but it used to be. "Workin' hard, keepin' busy." That was our response when asked, "How's it going?" We all knew it was a joke and a lie, but we all said it anyway.
