I have always enjoyed the sound of quality horn loaded speakers. I have a set of Altec Valencias that I have listened to for years in the master bedroom. The Klipsch speakers really are capable speakers for my large room and the clean, articulate, powerful sound is hard to beat for the price. I really struggled with a speaker decision but the controlled dispersion really helped the acoustics since acoustic panels are not in the cards yet. I did treat the floors and the ceiling is so high that it is of no consequence. The Klipsch system really excels as a home theater system and it ability to play music is also impressive. I auditioned a lot of speakers before deciding on the reference series and they provided the best solution for my room and equipment. I almost did not buy the RSW15 but I am glad I did. It is a monster, yet blends seemslessly with the rest of the system. Its lack of audible distortion, even at 20Hz and reference volume levels is impressive. I will own these until I die and do not anticipate any urge to ever upgrade. Enjoy your system!!!

Builders always put the fireplace in the ideal place for a HT front stage!! They clearly must not have HT on their brains while designing homes....LOL Well done.... I would have used my space in the exact same manner. Last edited: Jul 23, 2007
