HDMI Cable Testing

Gizmodo did some interesting testing on HDMI cables. I can see some flaws in their methodology, but overall it seems like a solid test. Interesting, to say the least!

Nice read thre results aren't too surprising considering they kind of showd what we knew all along about HDMI cables and long runs. They just proved that sometimes its worth spending the extra money because its newer tech.

Yup. I'd be interested to see them do the following...

1. Uncoil the cables. The extra inductance might be causing issues.
2. Test more brands! DVI gear and the brand that Blue Jeans carries come to mind.

More brands and I would want to add interference to the mix. See how all the cables hold up to ohh I don't know copper wire running electricity sitting next to them.
