Thought I'd start a new thread about something I really love, and most likely a majority of guys here enjoy as well. Please post your favorite beers, your most hated beers, your record beer drinking nights, and if the better half doesn't mind you tying one on every now and then.

My wife won't offer to pick up a 12 pack when she's shopping, but doesn't mind me drinking a few during the week. Heck, today I found the local convenience store had Bud Ice 24oz. cans for $1.09 each! So I bought all of them. :D

Here's something to start this thread. Have a great summer, and share your beer stories/likes/dislikes/drinking games here!

Hee, hee. Great article.

One of my personal favorites is a Belgian beer named La Chouffe. Can't find it here in Arizona, but I drink it when I visit my family back east. I was also a huge fan of Molson Dry, but I haven't seen it in years (also not available here in Arizona) and don't know if they still make it. So, I go for Moosehead most of the time.

The best beer bar none that I've tasted was some home brew Crystal Weizen beer my brother-in-law made. He is after all, a nuclear engineer.

We are going back home to visit in July so I'll be able to enjoy it once again.

My current favorite beer is Youngs double chocolate stout, I have always enjoyed it out of a bottle but this friday I had it for the first time draft, and it was amazing. Just a suggestion for all the dark beer drinkers out there.

Overall Guinness. My family has been in the liquor/restaurant business for 40 years, so I've tried just about every ale, beer and wine under the sun, but I still go back after Guinness for my all time favorite everyday stout! Cheers!

I was always a fan of Joe Crow by the 6-pack. (Now you know why I don't drink anymore.)

I am a fan of a local Wisconsin company called New Glarus Brewing Co.

They have some great beers. My favorites include their Yokel, Fat Squirrel, and Totally Naked

I may pick up a six pack of Stone Soup on the way home to give it a try :)

Im pretty new to drinking beer (about 2 years now) so I havent really learned to like most beers. My fav is Newcastle; I also like XX amber, Tacate, and Corona. My GF doesnt mind trying new beers, our firdge is full different beers (beers we dont like, but hope our friends will). Usually have 1 or 2 beers a night.

My favorite beer comes from some of the local breweries, those being Grizzly Peak Brewing Company, Arbor Brewing Company, and Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales. They all make really good (and different) beers. I also have a soft spot for Boddington's Cream Ale. It's soooooooooooo good.

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Awesome! Just a touch of that Belgian sweetness. Jackson, Ann Arbor must now be a far cry from my day. Then it was Stroh's, Wiedeman's and when truly poor Buckhorn. $2.25 a TWELVE pack, the deposit increased the price by 50%! Return two cases get one free.

Didn't I already make a thread like this? Why yes, yes I did.

I guess I can update as it's been awhile since I posted in my thread.

The Good:

Richards Honey Brown - Favorite honey brown thus far.
Birra Moretti - Picked this up at a singles section, very tasty, made in Italy.
Brahma - Randomly started talking with a chick in a Cold Beer and Wine store and she recommended these. Thank you, mysterious redhead with great taste in beer.

The Bad:

Richards Red: I don't know what it was, but I hated this beer. Very rough taste in my opinion. I don't know how so many people have it tagged as their favorite.

Here's an updated photo for y'all.

Well, the stores down at State and Packard are still moving the usual piss-water, but there are brewpubs downtown that serve some excellent beer. There is also a brewery out in Dexter that makes some interesting ales. And of course there is Belle's out of Comstock, MI that makes some really excellent bottled stuff.

I'll drink almost any beer that's given to me...(I believe Ben Franklin was right...) and there's plenty of local micros that I've sampled, but I prefer Sam Adams light...

I love beer.

IPA's and Belgian Ales are my favs atm, but gimme an ice cold MGD and I'm happy also ( I AM from Brew Town afterall).

New Glarus Spotted Cow, Totally Naked and a few others of theirs are excellent.

I just love trying new beers.

And my wife will just pick me up a 6er of something she knows I like and of something new she thinks I might like...all without me saying anything.

Life is good.

Now I'm thirsty.

:D

"Hey bartender...Jobu needs a refill!"
