Ideally you'd like all cables run to a central distribution center regardless of whether you will have satellite or not. In that central location you'd have all the patch panels and devices like switches to route the incoming signals wherever you want.
4 RG6 may be overkill but plan on no less than two. Too many is always better than too few.
If you end up with more than one satellite you are fine if everything runs to a central location because you can put the multi-switch there. If you end up with only one satellite dish, the other RG6 can be used for other purposes.
If it were me I'd plan on two to three RG6 from the outside to a central location in the house and also run all CAT5 for phone and network to the same location. That is how newer homes are wired and it is very convenient to have everything in one location. It then becomes a simple matter of connecting the cables to the appropriate patch panel or switch to distribute it to the other rooms in the house.
