hi,

anyone know of a good place to listen to above average equipment? I know of advanced audio in Tacoma but that is it......

If Portland is not too far, there is Fred's House of Music and Magnolia HiFi.

The MagHiFi in Beaverton (Portland) is a stand-alone business and is a pretty nice place to audition lots of speakers (DefTech, Monitor Audio, Sonus Faber, Vienna Acoustics, Martin-Logan, etc.).

Oh yeah, did not mean Magnolia in general, is a good chain. I saw all kinds of stuff I an only hope to own some day (McIntosh mono's, etc). I was refering specifically to the Magnolia mini-stores in Best Buy.

I got my Denon Receiver from Magnolia Hi Fi in Bellevue since they were the nearest authorized dealer in the area.
