Quick question re: length

I'm upgrading amps and have to remove them from the same stack as the pre-pro.
I'll use about 12 ft. of something like Blue-Jeans stuff, etc. for my inter-connect between amp and processor.
Anything about a length issue that I need to know about?

If you have cable runs a mile long, you may need to change you gauge to something higher. I would say you are fine.

Yeah. If you have a choice between longer interconnects and speaker wire, choose shorter wire. Many people place amps next to speakers on short stands due tho this.

...you know, every thread just has to have a smarta** ....
...well, I've had my anxiety level so high making desicisions on the upgrade that when I finally pulled the trigger on the amps and pre/pro, I guess I missed the roar of indecision in my head. So, naturally, I had to fret a little over the cables.....sure it must sound retarded but then I'm numb from writing the check

BTW...guys, I gave up the Yammi, added the Rotel RSP-1068 pre/pro, kept the RB-1080 for 2 channel music, added the Rotel RMB-1075 to do the surrounds.....and I'll be eating bologna until Christmas.

Cut a few slits from near the center to the edges (so it doesn't curl up) and fry it. My mom used to make us fried bologna sandwhiches when we were kids and that is definitely good eats.
