Hsu Mbm-12

I recently purchased a HSU 2.3 sub and I'm very happy with it, but I was interested in what others might think of this mid bass subwoofer HSU offers.

Anyone out there get this and how did it work out? What sub did you mate it with?

Im not a big fan of this thought process... but that is just my opinion...

I personally like the idea of using main speakers that will play low enough to cover this range and then blend my mains to a decent higher quality sub...

Finding speakers that will play down to 80 hz, which is the usual/normal/suggested crossover point for Movies/HT.
Now I don't own one of these mid bass modules, and I have read that its just another thing you have to try to blend into the mix... Your sub should easily play up to any FR that your speakers can come down to... what speakers are you running, and what is your room size..

Have you plotted you freq. responce in your room...? With a level meter and a good test cd like AVIA...

I have one on order. Should be here soon. It will part of a little "get together" here in Florida next month along with a VTF-3HO/turbo, a couple of SVS subs and a Velodyne sub.

I own two (2) VTF-3HO's with turbos. The MBM-12 should work perfectly since I have some room between the front and rear rows in my theater to place it.

With the right amount of alcohol it will DEFINITELY be a "blind ABX".
