Speaker Dealers in Mass

I hope I am not violating any forum rule, if I am I apologize and will retract. But I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance as to where I might find a dealer around the Boston area, preferably on the south side. I tried google, etc...and a few pop up, but there appear to be very very high end. I am looking for speakers in that 1000 range - not the 3000 range. I just can't seem to find anyone with a good selection of quality speakers that won't require a second mortgage. Any thoughts would be helpful- if this is no appropriate, apologies -

In Boston on Comm Ave near BU there is "Spirit" sound but they spell "spirit" in a funky way. OK, found it.

They sales guys are so-so, but I ended up working with the owner because they were busy and he was a super nice guy.

My recommendation to you is to immediately move out of the Boston area. Move away from Fenway Park. Move away from the Red Sox. Away from the Celtics, Bruins, and Patriots.

Head south to New York where the sports traditions are rich with history. And they have a few good audio stores also. :D

Well there is no sports team with greater tradition than the Celtics, (except now :D )
Ill keep the Red Sox and Patriots (the greatest NFL team in the post salary cap era), you can take the Bruins, NY Rangers, Islanders, Knicks and do what you want with them.:)

I just seen another recommendation for this store on another forum.

There's a great high end store in Waltham, MA that carries many great speaker lines called Goodwyn's High End.

Thanks much

Thanks for the tips and for the advice about moving out of Boston area - I was living in NY (Brooklyn - Park Slope) recently, but wife is from here, so hands are tied -
