Hey guys im in need of some help here.First off i have two sony recievers basically wired together in my room dont ask me why i did this but for a college kid its loud but anyways last night i go and pop a dvd in and the coax signal goes to one reciever and not the other the one that is not getting everything else works as far as video pass through and audio on videos 1 and 2 i tried swapping cables and all that but still wont get the signal any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Can you explain more about your setup? Exactly how are the amps "wired together"?

Are we talking about a digital coax connection from the dvd player to the first receiver? If so, then that will not work if the first receiver is connected to the second receiver via analog connections (either through the pre-outs or a tape out).

Definitely need more information as to just how the two receivers are wired together.

sorry about the lack of info

Basically what i do is i split the Feed with a "Y" at th dvd player and send it to each amp separately both into digital ins on both receivers therefore they both need to be on "DVD" at the same time to hear sound from both this was working up untill last night thank you for your help
