Seth=L Audioholic Overlord Apr 11, 2007 #4 I couldn't tell you for sure on the amp, but I would imagine it is similar to mine. It is a bigger amp for certain than the 659. The build quality of the RX-V1600 should be superior to that of the 659. So you had the 659 and you replaced it with the 1600? How much are you selling the 659 for. It is a highly sought after unit here, so I would suggest putting it up here for a tad lower than what it goes for B stock, it should sell within a week or less.

I need to get $285 for it shipped ...just getting out what I got to have nothing more....I dont have enough posts to put it up for sale in add section...I have good refs I havnt even powered on the 659..just looked at it to make sure it was OK..

ParadigmDawg Audioholic Overlord Apr 12, 2007 #6 Just keep it if it has all the connections you need. Add an amp to it later if you need more power.
