NAD M3 vs. Emotiva RSP-1/RSA-1 combo

Any thoughts from the experts here? I am unable to do a direct comparison. Has anyone tried either, and what was your impression?

RPA-1 and RSP-1 Emotiva Combo

Greetings
Haven't heard the NAD, but received my Emotiva combo yesterday after waiting over 6 weeks. Set it up easily in 23 minutes. Sat down to listen to Brubeck a la Mode (classical jazz album via iPod) and after 2 minutes, the peak power light on the amp came on followed by smoke from the amp and loss of the right channel. Super!
So, I emailed emotiva.com and no response whatsoever.
So, I called emotiva.com and no return call whatsoever.
So, I called emotiva.com today and the friendly chap said that was very
unusual and was sending out a replacement that I hope is delivered w/ in 2 days. I have 30 days to try it out. It has a 5 year warranty.
The units are BEAUTIFUL and HEAVY and SOLID. I bet this is a glitch as for the 2 minutes, the sound was fantastic through my Klipschorns, 1978 models. I'll let you know the followup. I had confidence and 'faith' to order from this company I knew nothing about, so I have confidence they will take care of me. Thanks.

If that happens like that again I would look at you speakers and cabling to be sure they aren't hindering your amplifier.

RE: Emotiva RPA-1 (amplifier)

Contacted Emotiva and received a replacement RPA-1 amp within 2 days.
Hooked up and now I'm enjoying fantastic sound w/ no smoke or red peak lights (which usually means a short). The set (RPS-1/RPA-1) is so clean and remarkably quiet (i.e., no hum or background sound) and adds nothing to the music from my iPod. I can't wait to buy an 'awesome' CD player and wish Emotiva made one. These units have a 5 year warranty and if the service continues to be this fast, I'm hooked. The Klipschorns are in LOVE again after divorcing Sony et al.
Go far it: these units have a 30 day trial period so nothing to lose except shipping.

Good to know that you not only got a replacement unit quickly, but that your speakers are still good to go! I'd love to hear what that Emotiva setup can do . I hope you enjoy your system!
