I own a GFM TV, DVD/VCR and a Home Theater system. However I rarely use the Surround Sound and was wondering if what comes through my antenna can become Surround Sound. My TV can recieve Digital Signals. I am willing to buy any cables, boxes etc. to make this work. Can Anyone help?
IM or reply if you have any GOOD suggestions...

Thanks

Yes, over the air HD broadcasts are sometimes in Dolby digital 5.1 format, and sometimes in DD 2.0. Does your TV have a digital audio ouput jack? Look for either a fiber-optic cable jack (also called toslink) or a coaxial cable RCA-type jack (usually colored orange), which ever is available on your TV. Connect the TV to your HT receiver and you should be good to go. You may have to fiddle with some settings on your receiver so it knows the TV offers a DD audio signal.
