I heard Columbus got their first Costco-my folks were planning a trip there. Is it open yet?

I traded my 1-yr old Vizio for a Panasonic 50" Plasma and pocketed $500 to boot! Gotta love that store:D

Costco is in business to make money, not lose money on people who abuse their previously generous return policy.

Their traditional return policy was in place to help members who had legitimate return reasons for their TV's. It was not in place to allow you to upgrade and pocket cash when you decide you want a new TV. It is inconsiderate abuse by a few like you that has caused Costco to change their return policy to the detriment of those of us who did not abuse it. Thanks a lot.

Well, after having returned 4 defective Vizio tv's to costco for replacement (since Thanksgiving) and recieving an "A grade" replacement directly from Vizio that won't recieve sound correctly on the SD channels and has a noticeable ghost image on all inputs, I'm waiting for a better tv to come to Costco at a good price and then I fully intend to return what I've got now and upgrade.

Not everyone who upgrades their tv's there is abusing the policy and ruining it for the rest of us. IME, anyone who returned a Vizio probably had a legitimate reason to return it. If they profited from that, then more power to them. You should probably ask people why they took advantage of Costco's policy before you condemn them for doing so.

Returning a Vizio (or any product) b/c it works poorly is a very legitimate reason to return/exchange a TV. What I said was that people who UPGRADE and GET MONEY BACK when their PRODUCT HAS NO DEFECTS OR PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS are the ones who ruined it for the rest of us.
