It's definitely not as well thought out as yours is. I guess I may have to contact Joseph Audio to see if they have recommendations for my units.
That is probably your best option. May be the better option is to upgrade. I see he now uses those SEAS Excel drivers, which I also use. He still has fairly steep crossovers but not those insane ones of before. His speakers measure quite well now from what I can tell.

I am hoping to start restoring a pair of JS Infinite Slope Model 2 speakers this summer. I will post pictures as soon as I start. I have not idea what I will find. The pair I got is not in good shape.

I am in possession of the internals of two JSE Infinite Slope .6 speakers as well as two sets of the woofer and, uh, 'smaller woofer' (it's not a tweeter, izzit?). Basically two Infinite Slope .6 speakers minus their cabinets.

I'd been saving them to attempt a reconstruction/resurrection but have realized I need to focus on bringing to satisfaction projects already begun... Please excuse me if this is in the wrong subforum, not allowed, or just in poor taste but I plan to sell them and my usual 'wazzit worth?' research methods fail for lack of similar data. I would be grateful for any thoughts about how to value these and whether it is smart to sell them in 'build a single .6 speaker' sets consisting of:

1 x big woofer
1 x small woofer
1 x crossover w/wiring
1x the 2nd pcb (found, I believe, inside the cabinet and directly behind the speaker wire input/terminal - also seen labeled in one of the images below) (not sure what this bit is called)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am stumped in figuring out how to proceed.
(if my comment is in the wrong place, please know I did read the rules and do not wish to transgress. I'd be happy to move it)

You will only find out if you put it on eBay for one dollar opening bid, no reserve. I doubt it is worth anything much, but you never know. Doing what I tell you, will tell you what it is worth in a hurry. The drivers for those speakers, are still available, but very expensive.

Hi TLS,

Thanks for replying! I should have better explained the situation; I have the full internals of two speakers - drivers & crossovers -everything but the fiberglass padding.

I agree eBay low-start auctions can provide a decent measure of what a given item might fetch...I guess what I was wondering is whether it is smartest to package the drivers alongside the crossovers as an 'errythang you need to make you a JSE .6 Speaker' package or as individual components.

Pictures of the drivers below. Woofers need a refoam & I now realize that, yes, the smaller ones are just regular tweeters not a 2nd driver...

Given that I have two full sets of speaker inner works, should I be selling as two kits or piece-by-piece? Your opinions/experiences would be much appreciated!

Actually the divers are not available. Unfortunately the drivers in the picture are not the correct drivers. I would say what you have is essentially worthless.
