A friend of mine and I went to see a Canadian band last night called Crown Lands. They are a two man progressive rock band and you certainly can here the influences from Led Zep (Zep 5 and later albums), Rush, Pink Floyd, and Yes among others.

The drummer is the lead vocalist and is very much like Robert Plant in delivery and stage presence.

The guitarist also sings some and switches between guitar and bass as shown below.

I've not seen a double neck acoustic guitar before... an awesome guitarist

They had guest musicians.. a bassist and a 2nd drummer as the original drummer would switch between singing behind the drums and in the front. The hand off between the main drummer and guest drummer was spot on!!

The last four pics are taken from music from their up and coming album to be released in May which I will snag for certain.

Oh and the geek in me measured the SPL from my seating position which was in the middle of row, 3/4 up the auditorium.

It doesn't take a long exposition to such a high SPL to get a severe hearing loss. Did you wear ear plugs while you were there?

Last week, I went to watch a streamed transmission from a live Met Opera production, Wagner's Tristan und Isolde, at a local Cineplex theatre. It was an amazing performance featuring Lise Davidsen, a Norwegian soprano having a height of 6 ft 1 in.

I now have a moderate to severe deafness that isn't due to hearing high noise or music SPLs. But, last Saturday, for the beginning of the performance, I was wearing a hearing aid on my left ear. At some climaxes, the music was often too loud to my ears and I removed the hearing aid, and the SPL was just right for my ears.

I did not bring ear plugs with me. My ears did ring slightly for an hour or so. I don't attend many concerts.

Do you use YouTube for music at all? Crown Lands has a YT page and under the "...more" link is a list of related web sites.
Ime, YT hasn’t provided the best sound, but I do use it to get an idea of how a band is. Then I can try Apple Music or Spotify. I did try one of their songs this morning, and it definitely had an 80’s hair vibe. One of the comments mentioned a band called Triumph. I’d say he wasn’t far off. But I have to dive deeper, and definitely will. After repairing one of the fuel tanks on my straight truck….. At least it’s up to 24°f today.
