It was 11 years ago today. I got to see the Pats and seahawks play. I was dressed In superbowl style. I guarantee I had a smile. May I introduce to you a team I’ve known for all these years. Bobby Bass’ New England Pats. Go Pats!

Painful experience for me at the time when I was a Hawks fan. Still appreciate the LOB and Beast, but wish they had a better qb. Insane NFC Champ game where GB did everything in their power to help the Hawks win. There must have been 5 or so key things they needed to do wrong to help contribute and they did. I believe there was a repeat of instances throughout the NFC playoffs and obviously the SB final play. Detroit was doing well with the run vs Dallas and then they decided not to run anymore. 4th & 1 for Dallas vs GB and they decided to deep throw it to which the coach challenged if it was a catch and won on that technical definition. (I believe Dallas was average 5 yds per play running.) Then the NFC Champ blunder. It was as if each team who won the previous week did something stupid to contribute the next week to their loss LOL.
I was trying to think of all the crazy things that happened during that NFC champ game....
4th & 1 at the goal and McCarthy takes the FG
4th INT by Wilson and the GB DB lays down instead of running what looked like a lot of daylight ahead
Overly aggressive edge rusher on the Hawks fake FG TD
Lack of hands specialist for GB with the onside kick
Wilson's two point conversion where he's scrambling backwards and tosses up a balloon to which it was caught
I remember the after game interview with McCarthy and him saying
points are difficult to come by and wondering WTF when you have Wilson over there playing one sh-tty first half and even if stopped the guy has to take his team 99 yds. SMH.
