No option of wall mount. I’ve gone without a center for about 2 years now. It’s collecting dust. Phantom sounds good not sure if I’m missing anything.
But last time I brought it up I’m missing my center I got the comment from my dad it was too old of a tv to be worth the risk of bothering to try it. But it’s only having issues because of a Roku and still works fine otherwise.

Sony XBR-55X810C. It’s at a good eye level right now not sure what stands to look into the ones on Amazon don’t tell me if a 7.5- 8” tall center would fit Under them. Possibly larger if needed. Any ideas or suggestions?

They make height adjustable tv mounts that would allow you to raise your tv and put a center under it.

Yeah I’ve looked into them but they don’t specify how much space is under them or if it will fit a 7.5” tall center. Are they stable ?

You need to make a effort to make your setup good. If you aren't prepared to bother to try. You can stop posting to all forums and leave.

I know how to properly set everything up but this room is a disaster oversized couch no room for surrounds on the sides. I can’t bring down my taller tv stand it’s too wide I’d lose room for a second sub.
Center speaker stands I looked at were too tall 18-22” I would need 17”.
. And low weight limits, they cost around the price of a new tv stand if I go check a store for a model with a built in mount . Then I’ll have to toss this stand or sell it because no space to store it.
Plus it blocks the avrs screen.
The Tv is going bad so a tabletop mount isn’t a good idea. Although it could last a year or more .

A quick look at amazon options (and further deep dive on source company) will show you easily

I’m not seeing it with this brand ? Do other brands specify how big of a center you can fit or whatever under the tv ?

That's all going to depend on the size of your tv and where it mounts from. Just think: if you mount a 32 inch tv in the same place as a 65 inch tv, you'll have much more room for a center channel with the 32 vs the 65. How is the stand manufacturer supposed to tell you what will fit? You will have to do some measuring of your tv's mounting points and figure out how much room that will leave you.

If you don't want to actually build anything, you can use a piece of 2x6" or 2x8" for the vertical support, long enough to reach just under the height you need for the TV.

The harder way is to get two pieces of wood that are the same width as above, long enough to reach just lower than the top of the TV, with a 1" strip at each long edge, to create a box, with 2"-3" holes for passing the cables through from bottom to top (or, you can just fasten them to the rear of the vertical support box. Add a 4" strip in the area where this new box would meet the bottom and top shelves, glued and stapled/nailed to the faces. Drill holes for screws into each shelf- I would through-bolt it.

The box will be strong enough for any new TV and it should be OK for a plasma TV up to about 50".

Go to WalMart and buy a tilting TV mount and screw the plate to the box at the height that works for you. I bought a mount with articulating arm on WalMart's site and it was only about $40- I used it to mount a 77" LG TV and it was fine. I think the shipping was free.
