I don't think it was the $20 billion but Argentina removed the export tariff so China grabbed it. The billionaire hedge fund guy invested in Argentina, and when Milei tanked the economy, he called Bessent to ask for the US to bail out Argentina. China's a big soy consumer, so they wanted to retaliate against Trump's tariffs by doing trade with Argentina and Brazil vs buying American soy beans. Something like that anyway.

The news of a Michigan mormon shooting where two people were shot and another two burned to death inside the church. So it was a combination of gun and the killer lighting the church on fire. The clever trick the Trump admin did was by calling this shooting a target against Christians. They knew they couldn't accuse the shooter of being on the left (since a photo revealed the shooter wore a '20 Trump shirt). However, in all fairness, there were people on the left who couldn't accept the Kirk shooter was on the left. So in that regard I think we could have been better.
