Suggestions for the first home theater?

On a different note I found out Saturday that if the volume is cranked up until the pokes are too f'ing loud (you can't speak over them without yelling) they do wake up and can produce music fairly well; the only problem is... they are too D**d LOUD.

In an effort to wake them up earlier I cranked up the gain on the Crown auxilary amp, which powers the pokes, slightly.

Right now SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle Towers are in the lead as my main speaker replacements.

... Currently looking at Seas 27TAC/GB tweeters as possible replacements for the poke pee-knuckle tweeters (I have never liked the sound of these poke tweeters so after 8 months of acoustic torture I'm looking for a potential remedy.
...Another potential replacement is the aluminum inverted dome tweeters from Human speakers (These continue to bring acoustic joy in my rebuilt EPI 100s)...

You can't just willy nilly replace one driver with another, as you have to redesign the crossover. All drivers have different characteristics including FR, sensitivity, free air resonance, and over all FR. They also have different voice coil impedance characteristics. So changing a driver means a crossover redesign as a rule.
