BEST Speakers For 7.1.2 Setup For Around $3000

What will be the best speakers in that budget range.

Budget only for Speakers not for SUBs or anything else.

High On Clarity good Sound-stage and imaging really good horizontal and vertical dispersion.

I am KEF guy myself. But sadly this time around when picking a setup for my friend the budget is not allowing us to even enter into Q Meta series realm. Hence looking for decent alternates.

To be paired with DENON X4800H and Two DIY Dayton Ultimax II 12" SUBs + Crown XLS2502.

Monoprice products are now available in India. Their THX series are very well rated. James Larson performed a detailed review:
Those speakers are rated as 4 ohm drivers. One or two subwoofers would need to be added for a full low frequency reproduction. They also need amplifiers that can drive speakers having this lower impedance.

Don't think we can get Monoprice Speakers or Subs here. Emotiva we do. But not Monoprice.

Besides few Internet Direct Brands we have everything. SVS too. But SVS waaaaaaaaay overpriced here. That is the only Internet direct brand which is that over priced. Emotivs, PSB, Ascend etc are reasonably priced.

Shot in the dark here (I don't know if they are available in India), but Erin and Amir were both highly complementary about the AsciLab speakers out of Korea that they tested, Amir having tested a pair slightly below your budget, and Erin reviewing a pair just slightly above your budget. A thread with both reviews:

Sadly they are not available. But even if they were them being already priced around $1000/pair takes the overall setup price high. I am searching for LCR speakers which cost around $500 each so that I can use the Bookshelf speakers from the family as surrounds which cost around $500 a pair.

Keep an eye out for sales. Q1 Meta, usually $699/pair, are currently on sale for $399/pair (over here in the US at least, Crutchfield). I don't think they are sold individually or in odd numbered lots, but still a viable possibility for you.

They are still going for Full price here. But seriously would only consider Q3 Meta for Surrounds and Q6 Meta for LCR. Q1 Meta is not enough for home theater purpose possibly good as Atmos speakers but that be it. They are decent for near field listening like for Desktop use.

Gotcha. Seems prudent. Get something appropriate for the task, and something that you won't regret. That may mean saving up for the time being, to get what you really want, rather than a compromise you'll regret sooner or later. (Curious how far out of budget the Q6/Q3 combo is in your market.)
