Probably mo good way to make sure it's not a bot but I don't remember if it has Captcha or something similar. I'm a member of an installer/AV contractor forum and they were being hammered far worse than AH. We're still waiting for them to launch the site after changing servers and hopefully, security. It has been 5 months since it was operational.

I have been suggesting James to use the Captcha logging affirmation "I am not a robot". Captcha also can use the multiple image test. CAPTCHA - Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org

Another forum institutes a mandatory approval by mod for new posters... first 10 posts or something like that. The funny part here is that one guy posted... after it showed up, he edited it and it got caught in the mandatory approval loop again because he was still below post count!
