Need help deciding which to buy for my garage setup.

I'm pretty novice and I don't know which one I should purchase, a Onkyo tx-sr602 for 40 bucks or a Yamaha rx-v1300 for 75 bucks. Which do you think is a better overall buy and why?

What features does one have over the other that might differentiate these two choices for your use? Compare and decide for yourself. Both come with some potential for obsolescence and risk of failure from age/abuse.
