Maybe a stupid question ...

I have hooked up this system and it works fine: Onkyo EQ-140 equalizer. Onkyo -301 preamp. Onkyo M-5000 amp, and they are going through Klipsche Reference.

No doubt, the sound is good, but it is only 2 channels. In the past I was at 5.1. I suppose the short answer to the question is that I won't be able to hear my music in surround. Is there a remedy? Can someone recommend a piece of equipment that I could add or would I have to replace a component entirely.

I would really like to hear my music in 5.1. I have other receiver/amps, but this one, right now, really does have a kick, regardless of the lack of surround.

How are you enjoying the system after receiving the correct connection instructions?;)

What other receivers and amps do you have there? The answer to the question is that you will need a 5.1 AVR/AVP+AMPS and speakers to listen to music in surround sound.
