I'm old school, have collected vinyl and cds before streaming/pirating was even an option. It's the greatest expense overall, gear's gotten close, tho (5 systems and don't sell off old gear). Streaming is cheap and easy.
Vinyl is really fun, just got into it a few years ago. Took all my father in laws records lol then bought a turn table.

Meh, I was an early switch to cd. Haven't bought new vinyl in close to 30 years now....but still have my whole collection and my trusty Technics SL1200mk2 since '85. :)

After years of fussing with vinyl and its audio issues, it gets less fun.

I doubt that people can tell the difference between a 320MPS MP3 and a CD in a blind listening test.

It's possible but hard, and then there are much better lossy codecs than basic mp3, too.

I download an mp3. How do I move that file to my music player?

Don't use wmp, but in Foobar you just specify the drive/folder/etc you want it to choose from....I just designate my music folder where I keep all my music.

The music folder on your PC, or in Foobar?
