Guilt sometimes causes insomnia. The Guilt of being a self perpetuating burden is one possibility.
Like if instead of getting your rest so you can work the next day, you make nonstop posts here and on AVS.

Posts that not only show you know next to nothing about audio/video, but posts that usually contain...
"If I had a job, I would..."
"My parents wont let me...."
"I just can't do..."
"Someday when I have...."
"I would do that, but...."
"Maybe tomorrow, I will....."

The best thing for you would be if your parents shut your phone/internet down.

Just sucks I can’t sleep.. I’m not going to rant or anything sleeps tips would be helpful. Neurologist can help any ? I’ve already been to sleep expert and he didn’t have a clue how to fix it ..
I’m actually actively trying to fix this stuff to no avail . The only thing I know is I can’t understand why people don’t understand anything even so called experts.

It's a nice excuse for not doing anything with your life though isn't it ?
"Dad, I can't go to that job interview...I was up all night."

All of your issues are self inflicted...normally no one cares, but you like to post all your issues on A/V forums for some reason.
I'm going to put you on ignore here and on AVS...you just piss me off with your whining.

I had problems with this and it was usually because of some BS I had to endure at work. While I was looking for different jobs (because people who didn't know anything about what we did were telling us how to do it), I started to think of one word while I was awake that actually works- 'Nothing'. I repeat it in my mind and eventually, I would fall asleep.

I had also bought a book for stress relief and one of the tips was "If you can't do anything about whatever is bothering you, leave it for another time".

BTW- if you drink a lot of coffee or other caffeinated beverages, cut down. Start by not drinking these after 12PM so you can metabolize the caffeine.

If you think insomnia is a joke, be a comedian somewhere else. It sucks. Going to a job interview after a night of tossing and turning is a great way to not get that job.

Hey! Insomnia can be a pain. Try setting a bedtime routine – like reading or relaxing before sleep. Limit screen time before bed too. Herbal tea like chamomile might help. Hang in there, better sleep is possible!
I forgot I might have some of that tea .

Cutting down on if not eliminating stimulants like caffeine and nicotine would be a good start as highfigh mentioned. There is an app called Calm which offers things like guided meditation. Last but not least: good old fashioned drugs (preferably prescription and not street :p )

You could use that time to study for a Certification or two that would help improve economic outcomes and help reduce some stressors.

You could ask him for something like trazadone. It’s a mild antidepressant that also helps you sleep. Depends on what other meds you’re on of course to make sure there aren’t any interactions.

Yeah I’m allergic to that one I’ve tried it . I’m sure they will find a solution they are experts for a reason.

My case is a paradox everything said on that list is opposite to me I can dose off and pass out after or during drinking coffee. Then if I avoid electronics too long I wake back up : so it’s a matter of balancing my watching lots of tv and listening to music that knocks me out and make me tired . I just can’t sleep well lately it’s a manic episode and I’m going to my specialist doctor who handles My meds soon to sort out my insomnia .
Reading on my phone or books makes me tired I’m going to try more of that. My ears need a break from audio sometimes thanks to tinnitus.
