looks like we are now into the early evening hit and miss thunderstorms. Heat, humidity and rain and the humidity levels goes oFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF the charts. .

What's the humidity like? I remember a lot of 100+/100+ days when I live there. It's the only place where I used to get heat rash....

In ABQ we average 3 days/year over 100. We're on track for 15 days of 100+ this month. Worse, if the 7 day forecast is correct, we'll break the standing 9 day record by 3 days. The UV index is up at 11.

The highest the index goes.

At one point I considered Redding CA but heat in summer is insane, regularly 90 day stretches over 100 IIRC (okay maybe not so IIRC but think its been damn close last several years at least)

If it's a 105 it's more like 108
We had one day where it was a heat index of 114 with humidity

Well right now at my area Ormond Beach Fl, at 8:44am, its 79 degrees, wind 3mph from the west, the pressure is 29.99 inHg, the Humidity is 89%, and it feels like 86 degrees.

Walked 9 holes today with a pull cart. Teed off around 1045 or so and was drained after 9. Never again will I try that with 90+ temp and high humidity. I should have just hit a bucket at the driving range.

Redding is nice, I used to live 20 min from there. But that whole area is hot all summer, though it is dry not humid. You get used to it, but it does get old. That is likely why about every major town in the area is along the Sac. river.

Redding politics are a bit weird but the area can be nice outside of summer Then again Redding nearly burned down not that long ago....

Not really - it was only 105 today. Hot, yes, but not EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING!!!1! hot and it is certainly not hot enough to affect my route. I’ve been through much hotter summers in DFW, and 105 is child’s play compared to where I grew up.

98 here in St Augustine today and tomorrow. Couple that with the high humidity and when you step outside it feels like walking into a sauna.
