Yes that is getting a little alarming. With our countries lacking laws, its no wonder. Try to get into ( and caught) Russia and see what happens without the proper travel documents..
agreed, no worries though Joe will send his 'Border Czar' down there right away to take care of matters ;)

Thanks for the link. It’s with worth noting that your link talks about unauthorized immigrants instead of migrant.

As for Europe there been large waves of refugees entering over the last ten years, and the latest is of course due to the brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine. They are not registered as unauthorized.

From the Russian territories interesting, from another site, it looks like most of UK's immigrants are coming from India. The five largest foreign-born populations were from India (approximately 847,000), Poland (746,000), Pakistan (519,000), Romania (370,000), and the Republic of Ireland (364,000).

And since August of last year about 112k came into the UK from Ukraine. Still a lot https://migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/resources/briefings/qa-the-uk-and-the-ukraine-refugee-situation/

Yes, it is.

For EU, that UK left, there are 4 million people from Ukraine (as of March 2023) that have temporary protection that includes a residence permit, access to the labour market and housing, medical assistance, and access to education for children.

That site is showing the EU as a whole. From the Gov UK: Total arrivals of Ukraine Scheme visa-holders in the UK: 178,000. Data is as of 19 June 2023 and comprised of: arrivals via Ukraine Family Scheme: 52,300. arrivals via Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme: 125,700. Still a lot. I would think they will most stay, build families, jobs etc.. since they have nothing to go home to.

Yes, UK is doing very much to support Ukraine, including military training and weapons/equipment/munitions.

Reminds me of when Condi Rice went to the theater, played tennis with Monica Seles, and went to Farrgamos for shoes. Some thought hey what's the big deal?! She could do nothing about Katrina!! I thought ya dumb asses it's in PR. You don't go buying shoes out in public when there's people sleeping on the sidewalk in Orleans. Or that mayor who went out with his wife to a 5-star restaurant. Sorry buddy, but it's bagged lunch and man the stations.
