Kind of interesting. In the enhanced scale there's rarely been a tornado over 200 mph. I think they base it on damage. Maybe only a few in our history.

The weather is getting rather nuts these days.
Lived if DFW (tornado alley) and we had to move to the first floor under the stairwells at work a few times when a tornado was spotted nearby. Same with my apartment complex. I live in northeast FLA now, so I have traded tornados for hurricanes. I prefer hurricanes because you do get some time.
I've been watching that mess as it dips threw you on the way to central Fla ( my area) this past week. Tornado's, I don't like em, at least with Hurricanes you can prepare a little, but take it from me, We moved from the beach after 10 years and having storm surge in front and behind your home isn't for the weak of heart, hence we moved a little inland in March. But although Hurricanes do spawn tornadoes, at least they are not normally EF3, 4's or F5's in my area of Fla . But give mother nature time, she will probably up the fun.
