Playing MP3 albums on LG phone

Hi,

I recently bought a LG V30 refurbished phone to use as a mp3 player. I copied all my discography from my computer to a SD card and plugged it in. When I play an album on th audio app on my phone, it doesn't play the songs in order (no numbers on them) and shuffle songs. It also split songs in an album if there are different performers names. A few splitted songs also have some Chinese or weird characters... Does anybody know any music app similar to iTunes which include songs numbers that I could use on my phone?

What music player are you using currently? Might play around with a bubbleupnp or foobar2000 app. Sometimes just the way the metadata is setup by the ripper can cause issues like you describe (plus the way that metadata was organized on the recording).

Hi, thanks for your reply and information. I downloaded VLC player yesterday and it works perfectly each whole album. I also renamed a some mp3 files so I don't have anymore problems with the splitting of songs. I just have one problem with one album I'm trying to get rid of, I deleted it on my laptop and on the SD card and did refresh in VLC but it's still there as "unknown album". I also tried to delete it on my phone but when I click delete I get the message "You have to grant VLC write access to your card" and I couldn't figure out how to do it...

Hi, well I was able to delete this album, I'm not sure what I did but it worked this time. Thanks anyway for your help.
