Don't seem to see any word of an expected release date, but it's not currently in production, so not likely until late 2023 at the soonest... probably sometime in 2024.

I heard about that. At first I wasn’t especially interested, but then I saw Ridley Scott signed on. Now I’m “all in”! I’m definitely going to be watching for the start date.

Yep. They couldn't swing a studio to make a film because 2049 didn't do as well as it deserved, but they got Ridley and a series. I am in. They had to say "live action" since they had the animated series Black Lotus, which was decent but felt not quite as relevant as it could have been.
