Hello experts
I have yamaha RV-381 receiver connected to active subwoofer with rca cable.
I have bluetooh outside speakers powered with 12vdc power supply.
The power supply is in the same cabinet with rhe receiver and I can't change it. When I turn the 12vdc power supply I have big hamming noise at the sub.
I tried to solve the problem like this:
1. Changed the rca cable.
2. disconeccted earth in the 220v input power supply.
3. Changed to power supply to stabilize power supply (xbox 360 power supply).
4. I bought Chinese rca isolator.
Nothings helped
Can some can advise what to do?
Thanks for the help

How is that 12 volt power supply connected to everything and what is it? The problem obviously is related to that. So either that power supply is inducing an AC field into the receiver, or somehow inducing a ground loop. I strongly suspect the former. If that is some type of car unit, then it is suspect. If my first guess is right, and it probably is. Then you have to move that power supply, or get rid of it. There is no other way, and it is pointless to look for other solutions.

Hello tls
thanks for the help.
It is in my home. I have cabinet that Holds all the media (receiver,tv box, Xbox, and more).
The outside speakers are bluetooth controlled.
I can't change the power supply position.
I did more tests and it is ground problem.
The yamaha receiver and the subwoofer don't have ground pin in there soket, so I connected ground pin to the reciver metal cover.
It helped to the hum noise but didn't make him to go away..
