Amazon music app on Fire Cube or stick issues?

Anyone else having this issue with the Amazon music app. On the Fire Cube or stick? It will play the first song, no matter what song I choose but after that it won't. It'll play exactly 9 seconds and then a circle will appear that is loading but it never comes back on. I have both a Fire Cube and Stick and it's happening on both. Any ideas or heard of this? Trying to get answers from Amazon is like pulling teeth. Thanks

I finally found the solution or what was causing this. I had restarted several times, unplugged several times, I had forced stop of the app, I had cleared data, and nothing worked until I "cleared cashe". That's what finally fixed it. So anyone who runs into this problem, this is how to fix it

Hey, I recently found a setting in the music app that you have to turn on for Ultra HD. I remember a thread not long ago and folks were asking why the firestick doesn't play in max quality. Well, I found it! If the song is capable I can now stream in 24/96 on the stick.

Yeah, it's weird you have to enable that. I have had it enabled for a very long time. The sound quality is freaking excellent.

I just recently discovered that setting. Before I just assumed the stick wasn't capable past cd quality. Saw your post and figured I'd share. There was a discussion a while back and it got brought up.

Well thanks for your input. Remember if things get hung up as it was on mine to clear the cashe. I have the Fire Cube and it's capable of 24bits 192Hz. It really sounds excellent.

So where do you go to clear the cache? I don't need to currently but I don't see where the option is.

I just generally need to reset my firesticks periodically, think that clears out the cache, too (but no particular problems with my apps I have found that to solve anything by clearing cache itself....but I don't have Amazon Music in use either)....but on mine you go to settings - applications - manage installed applications

Oh you go into the settings, applications, and manage applications. Then look for Amazon music and you'll see forced stop, clear data, clear cashe. Ya know what I'm wrong, it's clear data, but just do all three. When you clear data/cashe you will need to turn HD music back on.

hope this is the solution for you as well. Strange right, music just stops at 10 seconds exactly.
Man I will tell you I absolutely love Amazon music. The sound quality is just incredible. I am stunned. Now they just need to add Dolby Atmos music to this service. What they are waiting for I don't know. I have absolutely no interest in Dolby Atmos music through headphones, my HT is where I want it.

Your fix worked awesome! Thank you again. I would love it if they did Atmos music via the cube. My HT is where I want it too! Have a great one!

Oh man excellent, I'm so glad to hear! It took me 2 days to finally find that solution. Today you had to be your own technician.

Wonder how often you'll need to do the clearing of cache....

I've had to do it infrequently with my firesticks for other apps, so curious if you have to return to this. If it is a one time thing just makes me wonder what caused it (vs still same situation over time).
