Ah, Tangerine Dream. They did some odd stuff, but they also did some great stuff for so many years. Sad to hear it. RIP Klaus.

Been a huge fan of Tangerine Dream from way back in the middle 70’s to present. Probably inhaled a truck load of weed to there album’s back then and over the years .

I really enjoyed his work with Pete Namlook for the entire Dark Side Of The Moog series. 11 Albums with another dead German who contributed an immeasurable amount of music and mentorship to the Electronic scene.

This is a lot of music... I linked to AppleMusic because it is what I use.

Please explore. There is a lot of very cool stuff in here. :)

Schulze was only in Tangerine Dream very briefly in one of their early incarnations as a percussionist, and he is much better known for his solo work. His solo work did have a similar, but certainly not the same, sound as Tangerine Dream, with what would become to be known as the Berlin School of electronic music or "Kosmische Musik".

I believe it was there first album . They’ve had a lot of incarnations too my preference is the 70’s to late 80’s stuff .

Never knew who was in that band at any given time and I do prefer their earlier works mostly as well. I figured he would have a similar feel to his sound if he was with them though.

Not only is Kraftwerk in my regular rotation, but they are also ON TOUR.

I like some albums from some periods. From the '70s, I like Pheadra and Rubycon. From the '80s, I really like the album Optical Race. Recently, I think they are doing some nice stuff, and their albums from the past few years have been pretty solid. In fact, I feature one in an upcoming review.

Please do that I will definitely check out Optcal race . I’ve been searching on YouTube for there newer stuff in one incarnation I believe it’s Edgar’s son leading the way . But Iam not sure how recent this was . I’ll await your review .
