My room is roughly 18x18x8 (2,592 sq ft). I say roughly because there is a 12ft diagonal opening just to the right of the front of the room where the TV/speakers are. I use 2 SVS SB-1000 Pro. One is on the front between left speaker and equipment cabinet and the 2nd is kitty corner just slid forward a foot or so from the back right corner. The bass I get is lovingly called "controlled thunder." Things like LOTR trilogy 4K blu-ray, Nick Mason's Saucerful blu-ray, various King Crimson & Jethro Tull 5.1 DVD concerts are simply glorious. SVS certainly isn't the only capable brand, but I'd have no issue buying their products again - no second guessing here. Check out their satisfaction guarantee and upgrade policy, if you haven't. I also use the wireless system for the back sub and it works perfectly.

Curious, which Nick Mason Saucerful album is that? Live at the Roundhouse?
