The Ukraine Weapons Tracker twitter feed has been posting very large numbers of Russian losses of tanks, trucks, etc. lately. My impression is that on a daily basis the numbers are several times what they were 1-2 weeks ago.
I'm not sure if Russian losses have increased lately, or if more are being reporting right now (assuming that the number of reports has increased). My impression is that the Ukrainian military is really taking it to the Russian forces right now, but I also suspect that some of the images probably show Russian tanks, etc that were destroyed previously, but are only now being photographed as the Ukrainians retake territory.
I realize Russia has a very large number of vehicles, etc. in Ukraine, but it's hard to imagine how they can remain effective for very long while sustaining these kinds of losses.
It also seems that very few videos of Ukrainian TB2 drone strikes have been posted recently. I'm wondering if the Russians have shot down quite a few (I saw one photo of downed TB2 drone the other day), or if fewer videos are being posted, perhaps for tactical reasons.
First Disclaimer: I'm not an expert when it comes to military equipment, strategy, etc. My impressions are not based on any great wealth of knowledge or experience (the more I follow this war, the more I've realized how limited my knowledge is).
Second Disclaimer: The information being posted by Ukraine Weapons Tracker generally strikes me as plausible, but I have not attempted to check it for accuracy.
