Just went ahead and ordered the Panasonic UB820 player from Crutchfield. My Sony 4K player doesn't have Dolby Vision so I wanted that and I want to check out this HDR optimizer. It's supposed to be an excellent player overall so why not.
Any comments, or tips will be appreciated. Any setup tips for sure will be appreciated.

Thanks, I think this is just what I needed. I want a Dolby Vision and this is a well reviewed player. Wednesday I shall see what all the hype is about.

So I got my scratch and dent UB820 heater fun Crutchfield and as usual I can't find a blemish on it. It's a great 4k player for sure and incredible picture, definitely better than my old Sony X800. The HDR optimizer is very cool. I'm still trying to fully figure out all the settings. I thought you could choose between a high luminance and medium to high an OLED or projector? I couldn't find any of those settings. Dolby Vision looks just stunning though, that's really the show here with this player.

I buy Crutchfield scratch and dent equipment all the time and have yet to find a problem outside of a damaged box. I ended up going with the Sony X800m2 and am very happy so far especially with the CD Audio playback.
Enjoy your new toy.
