Wow! let's talk superb fantastic excellent for the money you get up to 250 inches of screen and with some adjustments on the color controls and the brightness controls I usually reduce the one I have to 35 max out the sharpness and contrast. The HD picture is outstanding you can even see the bumps and wrinkles on the people's face.
I paid just $140 at Walmart 1 year later it still plays like new.
I keep it on almost 24 hours a day and use it as a television mainly on YouTube and the free TV channels like Pluto I use a Roku stick and download hundreds of channels for free.
You can purchase new movies that are in the theater and watch them in the comfort of your home.
I hooked this projector to my DJ audio system that is in my living room until I get a gig and my God the sound using the Sherwood 4109 receiver is so outstanding so much power and bass and highs and mids I wish you could be here to hear it and see it with your own eyes and ears.
Why pay all this money for an expensive name when you can get the same quality for much less people just waste their money all the time being lied to when all you have to do is a simple internet check or search check eBay and you'll get the truth about most items in the audio and video sales search just read the customers review on the item you're going to purchase on eBay and you'll find out that many people have bought this projector and are very happy with it they are giving it a four out of five stars I give it a five out of five.
I love it so much I purchased another one which is on standby in case this one Burns out so far it's been sitting in my drawer for almost a year the original one I purchased is still working perfectly after being on almost 24 hours every day it is rated for 5000 hours before you need to change the bulb that's a whopping 5 years or more on this LCD bulb..
The Vankyo 470 is rated at 4000 lumens of brightness and I must say they stand by what they say the brightness of this projector is outstanding I have the one l have all the way back to 200 inches on the wall which is painted white and my goodness the picture is outstanding I no longer use my 70 inch TV it sets there in the living room covered.
Why pay more for less just pay less for more with the Vankyo 470 projector.
Be careful of different projectors that are cheap unknown names 90% of them are junk I recommend this projector a hundred percent if you're in the market for one.

Nobody who has seen a quality projector would rate anything like this as good.

This will sound rude, but it needs to be a reality check that you don't know what you are talking about on this subject.

Not that the Vankyo doesn't project an image, but to call it 'outstanding' or 'same quality' is just showing how uninformed you are.

For starters, the resolution is 1280x720 - which is 720p standard resolution. It isn't 1080p or 4K which is the current specification. So, while you may get acceptable details, there is a lot which you aren't getting and is being thrown away, especially at larger image sizes. Especially when they are using transmissive single LCD panel projection.

The brightness is NOWHERE NEAR 4,000 ANSI lumens. It's a BS number. A lie. Since you don't know what you are looking at, how to measure lumens, or anything else, you are happy to pass on their lie as truth, in complete confidence with your bad information. The reality is that a top of the line, cutting edge, LED projector from BenQ, which has the highest rated brightness output on the market, puts out less than 3,000 ansi lumens, on a $1,500 projector.
Vankyo has right on the product page that this model is 120 lumens. So, that 4,000 lumen number was BS. Take a look at their updated specifications if you don't want to believe me..
It's right there. 120 lumens.

Now, this ignores the rest of the issues which the projector has as well...
Bad image uniformity across the screen.
Weak contrast.
Poor black levels.
Weak color saturation.
Poor image processing.

I'm not saying it doesn't work. I'm not saying it doesn't produce a price appropriate image. It does. If someone is using it in a play room to show a movie for the kids, then that's great. But, this isn't a home theater projector. The image quality compared to even an entry level projector like the BenQ HT2050a is significantly worse. Bad even. The jump in quality to a reputable name-brand model from a major manufacturer, especially one designed for home theater, is astounding.

There are plenty of reviews out there which put models like this to the test and compare them to each other and may even mention how they stack up against a entry level 1080p or 4K model.
Here's a good one for you to take a look at...

Well you kinda start off on the wrong foot when you come to a science based forum and make a bunch of false claims. It's one thing to ask questions but if you come right out of the gates with straight up misinformation you're gonna be met with some resistance.

I wouldn't say you were rude. Just weird perhaps. I wouldn't rank that Sherwood receiver like you do, altho I might use one if the price was right. The projector, no way.
