I would think Putler made a mistake if liberation was the objective in that he should just have returned what he has taken. I guess he forgot this and got lost in the direction of his force movement. ;):D
He might be suffering from the beginning of a dementia, or a slight cognitive impairment which is common with the aging process. Too much vodka might not help.

Then if it's the case, there would be more risk of him triggering a nuclear war. Let's hope that this is not the real situation.

Mockery is an effective tool especially on a morning watching clips of gruesome needless carnage.

Seriously, I have no life.
I worked with someone who owns a brewery here in Milwaukee and they're raising funds for Ukraine by selling a beer can label that can be purchased for $5- they're contributing $10 for each one and the goal is to send $10K. The label has an image of Putin with 'Putin Is A D!ck' at the top.

They're doing this because it's a good thing to do and also because Ukraine is one of the few European countries where their beer from Lakefront Brewery is distributed.

Milwaukee plus beer. You can't go wrong.
Although its not brewed there anymore, am a PBR guy, even their clear whiskey. "aged for 5 seconds".

Pabst went away for awhile, but when it was brought back, Miller was brewing it, using the Pabst recipes. Still here, just a bit to the West of the Pabst location.

I think Putin is going to lose some popularity for this-

Around his immediate circle probably. On the other hand, how many people actually have US$10,000 in Russia?

The more Poutin tighten's the screws, the bigger the target he becomes. I wonder how much the reward is for delivering his head in a burlap bag? Are there extra points if his little poutins are hanging out of his mouth?

This concerns me a great deal...

I am open to this being way off base as well. It is covered in a number of news outlets.

I think that Ukraine is shooting itself in the foot when they don't make sure to build goodwill towards other nations along the way. When a coworker told me this was going on, I had to research it a bit. Looks to be somewhat accurate. I would, at the very least, suggest equal access to leave the nation, but I might go further as to encourage letting foreign students vacate the nation. Treat them well, build good relations with the nations who they really need supporting them.

Don't blame them one bit.
Whatever happens at the end of this, the Russians will subservient to Xi and China. That will not be a good deal for them long term.

The Russians love to use this proverb when they are feeling nationalistic. I will do them the favor of re phrasing it for today's Russia.

"If you invite a Dragon to dance, it’s not the Bear who decides when the dance is over,”
“It’s the Dragon.” Cue the mic drop.....

Putin denies having bombarded Kyiv and warned that the situation will worsen, but it’s the fault of Ukraine.
